Hi From Victoria
So I am not yet officially a deli owner, but I hope to be tomorrow. We are going on a road trip to Parksville, Nanaimo, etc. to shop for my new to me delica. I'd appreciate any info/feedback on the dealers up there, since the only vehicles we found in town were overpriced or just generally not workable deals. 8)

Importing vs. buying in Canada
You might want to order direct from someone in Japan if you want to save $$. A delica direct from us will take some work but will save you about $3000-5000. Keep in mind, dealers that sell cars in canada MUST provide you with a warranty of some sort, that's the law. So if you import yourself, are perpared to deal with customs, compliance issues (very simple) and you trust the person enough who is sending you the delica, you will save $. If you do want to go that route check out http://www.japanroadtrip.blogspot.com We export delicas and provide parts and supplies (but no servicing). I guarantee what I say in emails or online to be true, and references can be provided at any time.

It's Mine, Mine, all Mine!
today I became the offial owner of a baby blue (and white) delica. What a rush driving it from Parksville to Victoria! Actually, I drove it to Ladysmith and let my other half drive the rest of the way. It barely sipped the fuel, drove like a dream, what can I tell ya that you all don't already know!
Happy trails for us. Road trip to C.River tomorrow for camping.
