Re: 1990 van compressor
Bush gaurd will not bolt up to the U.S. spec van because of the impact bumper frame extensions on the front.

Hi Shawnzy, welcome to the group. You have a very rare van, the USA import model. Just to let you know that our expert in that van is Glen at CC Autos, who has been replying to your posts -- so you are in good hands with his advice and knowledge. Keep in touch with the group, send photos, everyone wants to know more about them. Cheers, Christine.

Re: 1990 van compressor
thank you christine. we love our little van purchased from the orignal owner with only 121,000 miles on it and in mint condition for a 20 yr old van. but after seeing the vans on here with the after market goodies that are not available here in the U.S. it makes me green with envyTardisDeli wrote:Hi Shawnzy, welcome to the group. Re: 1990 van compressor
We can make your U.S. spec van into a Delica if you want !!!! I am in the middle of a conversion right now of a Washington registered L300 that is now 4wd and turbo diesel powered. Its a lot of work but it can be done. This should be the first LHD Delica in the U.S. when we are done. I will be posting an update soon with pictures of the `small` modifications that we carried out !!!!

FYI the bambi bars are stock items, not after market, as well as most of the spoilers, sun roofs, karaoke machines and such.

Glen,
It looks like a more torture-some project than the one you did for me...
All your guys are going to quit one day if you keep tormenting them like this! lol. (I'm still loving my gasser by the way).
