Re: any burners???
I can't make it this year but I'd sure love to be there next with this deli. There can't be many of them there yet and it would be a kick
to show the southern fringe element what cool stuff we can get our hands on. Have a good trip and take pictures!

Re: any burners???
I've been looking for a Delica for a month - always imagining it would look great on the Playa (and be a nice air-conditioned refuge during dust storms.) I was really happy when I found a lovely 1991 Crystal Roof Exceed last week up in Cumberland, on the island. I took it to CC and had Glen do the engine, brakes and shocks on Tuesday, and was driving around Vancouver today looking for someone to install a radio and car alarm when a pick-up rear-ended me at 1st and Commercial.
Arghhhhhh!
The rear bumper, bush guard and probably the back hatch are toast. I'm now looking for a body shop in Vancouver that specializes in Delica's - I need to get on the road quickly. Any suggestions?

I've been getting more and more interested in going, but this year is a wash and next is already scheduled (Barkerville with the kids). Maybe 2011! It looks totally awesome and I'd love to experience it first-hand.

Hey Kalachakraa, Sorry to hear about your Delica Fender Bender.
For ICBC auto repairs I used for my Delica is Dumore's Auto Repairs in Burnaby near New West, 7313 6th St (at 19th Ave), Burnaby V3N 3L2. 604-527-0504 great family business, Trevor and his wife do superb painting and collision repairs and just across the street from where Jay of the TardisDeli works. They know the Delica colour codes for paint, and colour matched my old paint perfectly.
As for parts, phone Mardy of Amazing Autos in Richmond, cell 604-720-6144
203-5755 No. 3 Road, Richmond, B.C. V6X2C9, Tel: 604-247-2111. Info@amazingautoimports.com
You can start your own post, just click new topic, and ask for more help from the Delica Community -- we all love to help each other. Good Luck, let us know how we can help. Christine and Jay.
Pedro Hi, no the TardisDeli is not going to Burning Man (would love to someday), Happy Honeymoon to you and Mary (wow, you are so-o-o lucky dude, a wife who likes Delica's and also thinks that Burning Man is a great place for your wedding Honeymoon).
