Here it is

Post by Manitoba deli »

Alright, here is my ride. 94 super exceed LWB. This was when it was sitting at the port in Japan waiting to be shipped. I've cleaned it up considerably since then, just don't know where the recent pictures are. Many thanks to DelicaFreaka for spending 2 hours on the phone to walk me through setting up the photobucket thing (my internet is not super fast, and I like to talk alot). Anyways thanks again
Jason

Yeah, the hat is pretty cool, but thats not me, my legs are way whiter than that, Being from Manitoba, I only have 2 months to try to get a decent sunburn.

Nice ride.

A heat gun will do wonders on the sunfaded front plastic/bar. :M

Thanks for the tip, the detailing shop made it nice and black again, that may be what they did. Will definitly save myself some money on the next one and do it myself. What do you do, just heat it up ? I think I will get my next one cleaned while I'm out there picking it up, the rates posted for the mobile cleaner (I think it was fishslaper) are more reasonable than the shop I regularly deal with in Manitoba, and I have read a lot of good comments on his work.

Yep. Heat it up. Will turn black before your eyes. Just move it around like a clothes iron or you'll melt it. :-D

The problem from what I hear is that this is a very short term fix, is there some coating or something that can be put on after you do that to stop it from going right back to the grey in a couple months?
