New Tires

Post by Pajerist »

Which one do you prefer for mostly city-highway-snow(from time to time), Bridgestone - Dueler A/T 695 with Uni-T or
Bridgestone - Dueler H/T 684II ?

Also thinking about all-season NOKIAN tires...

Thanks,

Hey,
A deli opinion I know but the Nokian Vatiiva AT's
have got to be the best all-around tire I have ever owned.

They do fit a bit small,the 31x10.5x15's
Nokian Vatiiva are not a true 31(go figure).
Just something to keep in mind
when getting your rubber.

I had the opportunity to pick up some duelers real
cheap but I found crappy reviews on them. I think
they come stock on some NA domestic trucks and people
seem to want to get rid of them pretty quick. I am not
sure if it was 695's or not however.

Thanks, Luna-Sea

Where did you get/how much NOKIAN? Are they noisy on highway?
I am looking for 235/75 R15 I guess...

Hey,
I got em from jfarsang surplus, good deal too. :-D

They are great in every condition I have subjected them to.
Not loud at all,my other meats Goodyear Mtr w Kevlar..those
mofoz are loud. There is the occasional pebble or rock that gets caught in the sipping, but for the most part they clean themselves out on the highway.

The sipping on them is awesome for the wet and snow and
the lugs are nice and deep for dirt and mud. Very good highway
manners.

Thanks for pics, Luna-Sea!

Found here:

AFAIK original Pajero comes with 220/80R15.

What will be better 235/70R15 or 235/75R15, consider mostly highway/city and snow?

Hey,
235/75R15 is on paper almost an inch bigger in diameter (28.9inch tall)
as the 235/70/15 which is theoretically 28inch tall. Both
are the same width (9.3 inches)

My lovely spousal unit now has a Pajero LWB and it came
to her with 31x10.5x15 so you should have no problems
with the 235/75/15 and maybe able to go bigger.
Not to much bigger, but bigger :-D
