Delica lover

Hi my name is Thorson I have had my eye on Delicas since 95.I worked in Japan for 5 years,during that time I came across lots of these awesome vans.I always thought"man if only they had these in canada,that would be awesome!".and now we do! I am looking to get into a delica in the near future. Can't hardly wait!!!

Well - I'm not much to rely on at this point - buy my feeling was same as yours. Saw my first Deli on a biz trip to Japan in 1996. I visit twice per year minimum since - and always said I'd pick on up if they ever came to canada. Found out they've here....did some research - and eventually became comforable enough over the past summer to get one 3 weeks ago. Have done alot of wrenching mysfelf - found lots of parts support etc through this forum (major tks for the support here) - and have had a blast with my 1991 deli. If you are half way mechanical - a little more patient than just going to the corner garage - then I say go for it and you'll have a hell of lot of fun. The reaction I get from everyone, plus my own enjoyment for this type of vehicle (room to spare for a family of 4) - makes it a winner for me. Life is short...do it, you won't regret it, go get one!
