New Owner in Victoria
New Owner in Victoria
I am thoroughly enjoying my 92 Exceed which I bought through Japanoid. After having trouble trying to register the van on the weekend I went into an ICBC broker today, and they only got a message telling them that the VIN was too short and would they like to proceed.

Nice pic - welcome.
The insurance rep I worked with was experienced in JDM vehicles just by chance - she could no do the usual "online" thing and had to speak to someone by phone, but everything proceeded ok once she received this verbal "over-ride" of somekind. Sorry, wish I could be of more help. As long as you passed inspection - you should be ok to insure in BC.

We do most of our insurance through Boormans (Fort & Foul Bay) including the Deli. Ask for Ginny or Keith, neither seem to have any great challenges with unusual requests (you have to trust me on this, been dealing with them for years)
