aftermarket stereo / amplifier

I am wondering if there would be an issue installing a 180 watt stereo with a 400 watt amplifier in a L400 - would it draw too much power from the alternator and kill the battery?

I certainly hope not as I'm installing a 1400 watt amp with 2 400W subs in an L300. That's not a lot of power so you should be fine. I'm just going to hope for the best

It's to drown out the noise from the exhaust system I installed
