Between peacearch and Seattle. I didn't think you could register this vehicle in the states!?

If there laws are like ours, you can import your own vehicle regardless of age, If you lived abroad and owned it for a minimum of 6 months.

That is not correct and doesn't apply to Canada either.

You can temporarily import for 12 months or less but then the vehicle has to leave the country.

Canada 15 years or older
USA 25 years or older

Answer to first q: no it cannot legally be imported in the US

With that said, there are a lot of grey imports (illegal) on the road in the US

So essentially this vehicle is either illegally registered or is only going to be in the states for 12 months or less!?
