did some searches and read a couple good threads. just wanted to share my situation before goin all the way. went to pick up some gen49d diesel lubricant from a local kleen oil dealer and he said he has a used unit for half the price (in mint shape), it's the 2nd smallest one that does up to 16L of oil. anyway, me and my old man are headed out to banff, leaving this friday, and i thought might as well get this installed before the long haul (the oil/filter is still relatively new at about 1000K on it since getting the van from mardy). so i'm in a bit of a time crunch and would like some confirmation just to make sure. i'm getting an experienced installer that's done hundreds of these installs but it'll be his first on the delica.
he asked if/where he could find a 1/8th or 1/4" fitting of an oil line somewhere near the oil filter? i've seen one or two pics, it's just underneath the engine next to the filter? and where would be the best place to send the oil back in? i've seen/heard tapping into the valve cover, tapping into the oil filler cap, and tapping into the oil pan underneath. does the valve cover have to be removed?!! quite a bit of stuff there to get at it. where's the optimal place to tap in?!
anyway, i've only heard amazing things about the kleen oil systems here (practically every bus/transit system here from the GTA and all around the greater horeshoe and a tonne of truck fleets and ambulance/firetruck dept.s and ontario hydro have their system....didn't realized that it cleans brand new oil even further, wow).
it's quite a large housing. i've seen a couple guys use a bracket across over the air filter in that void. b/c of the weight of it, i'm a tad leary about bolting it to the side of the engine bay where the bolts would come out behind the wheel well i would think..
that bracket can swivel to get the right angle..

where should we bolt this sucker?!

he gave me the nipple attachment to take samples out for free, nice fella.
guy is coming in on wednesday to have a look and if all looks good, will install (he's got everything in his van and his fee is very reasonable).
any comments/suggestions i could mention? feels a bit rushed since we're headed out friday, but i think he can pull it off provided there aren't any unforseen roadblocks..
hope you can help!
cheers.

we should arrive in calgary, if all goes well, sometime next tuesday!
