Dash "blank plates"

Post by almac »

hey guys

workin on ANOTHER mod... what else is new eh?? :? :-D
anyways i was wondering if anyone here has dissected a L300 dash.
i wanted to know what was under the small "blanking plates" on the back part of the dash... there are 4 of them. 2 behind the gauge pod and 1 on each side.

i will have my windshield out(maybe this week); i've been thinking of drilling some holes.

Do they hide screws that hold the plastic dash to the metal frame underneath?

I thought they covered the mounting brackets for the optional reflector sight that comes with the optional Browning 303 machine guns. I think I saw something about it in the options catalogue.

Pretty certain they cover the bolts that hold the dash in.

When Mardy picked me up from the airport the L300 he was in had retractable window shades and I think they were attached in those holes.
