Think you might be comparing oranges and apples...

Tires have a lot to do with the difference

I suspect van 2 has a LSD in the back (3 wheel vs 2 wheel drive)

Different drivers (look at the approach speeds and angles)

I have been stuck in my work truck on flat ground after closing a cattle gate (3 wheel drive full size ford 5 speed) due to the tires packed up with grassland grease (also known as mud)....

Lift helps a bit for the approach and departure angles...

Very true! I was just looking for an excuse to post this video as I liked it. Maybe I should change the title to "Not very scientific observations between a lifted Delica and a stock Delica...purely for enjoyment" !?
