Oh ya
Painting was a full day
sand 300g-400g-600g
wash
prime
sand 400g-800g
spot prime
sand 800g
paint once
paint twice
wet sand 800g lightly
paint again
bump work table
!!!!!!
spot prime
sand etc.
paint 4th
wet sand 1000g very lightly
clearcoat
don't bump table
keep temp up overnight
hard as rock in the morning

But seriously, very nice job. They look like they were there from the factory, two thumbs way up. 8-)

Thank you for the pictures and the detailed report Artacoma. I was concerned about mounting because I had fender flares installed by Otto Auto Service in Richmond. That was a BIG mistake. I ended up with ripping the flares off and sealing the holes they drilled scratching one fender and leaving the gaps between the fenders and the flares . I would love to have flares installed but I have some doubts about drilling the fenders again. :M

Rik, you did a beautiful job on those flares. I am getting ready to install mine soon. Hope they come out half as nice as yours. I'm in the process of buying wider wheels and tires.Looking for some ideas. Wondering whether to go with 15s or 16s and what will fit with the new flares on. I have a 2" lift also. What have you guys done for wheel and tire combos ?
