200:1 is the nominal ratio for optimum results ie, not too much, not too little.
Can you break that down for this 'old man'.... tonydca says to add 1/3 of a 1 litre 2-stroke to 60 litres approx?
I need your help with a simple experiment...

1/3 would equal 1 litre of oil per 180 Litres of Diesel which is pretty darn close

More people should sign up at Fuelly to track their mileage. There are a few of us on there already.

Re: I need your help with a simple experiment...
howes isnt for economy, it is for antigel and upper cylender lube properties. If you guys want insight, the trucking industry has been improving fuel economy for 65 yrs. there is a huge differance in summer/winter gas aswell...always has been. they treat ALL fuel to be stored in moisture rich(incliment) weather, and this usually affects performance. If you are going to use two stroke oil, please use high quality synthetic(ie:amsoil 100:1) you could easily go 400:1 and not burn excess fossil fuel.
