Trouble shifting into 4WD C/D light flashing

Tried to put L400 into 4wd and now C/D light is flashing and won't go off. The dashboard indicator never indicated all wheels engaged with 4 tires lite up green.

Had a similar thing happen with mine and under some advice from Psilosin I took it out for about a half hour (slow)burn around the neighborhood cycling it through all of the ranges, back and forth and the light went away. Functions totally normal now and have not had an issue since. It also helped me to familiarize myself with shifting from 2-4wd on the fly.

Hi... trouble with the vac solenoid switch actuating the 4WD circuit. You may need to replace them to solve that issue.

it will be just a solinoid issue.
and your problem is gone.
if not some electrical issue would have come up
