Looks good. Are the subs anchored down?

If you look closely you'll see that they're anchored with 4 bolts per sub and the amp is screwed down.

My truck died so I took the van into CVI to have an emergency repair done of the waterpump and the obvious thing to do was replace all the belts, etc (the Timing Kit job). Now the van is good to go for another 100,000km. 8-)

I also returned the catch can displayed above in favour of one with both 9mm and 15mm fittings and a more well known brand. I'll check the inside of this to see if I need to put in a "scrubby" or not as well.

In regards to the subs/sound system, have you upgraded your alternator?

I have one 12" sub (w/1000W amp) and with that, heater, and lights all running, it does put strain on the alternator.

I have the supexceed model which comes with a larger alternator and dual batteries. Other than that I haven't changed anything.

What about the poopy stock wiring?

You'd be surprised to see the thin gauge wiring that's used under the dash.

Stock wiring for what? Every addition I do is wired directly to the battery with heavy gauge wiring... Nothing I've done apart from the pyro should have any impact on the stock wiring.

that's the way to do it. I've seen a number L300's with aftermarket sound systems using the stock speaker and deck wiring that ended up fizzling.

Sorry for the picture quality, they were taken in the dark with a dirty iphone.

This is the beginning of creating a bed / couch / coffee table / cooking table. I have 4 - 24" sliders, stay tuned to see what they will be used for. This is the rear half, the front half will fold up and down to create the bed or the couch.

In bed form...

I still have to attach the hinges, the sliders and platforms that go on them, touch up and then paint black. 8-)

More carpentry pictures... It was getting a little chilly chiseling away outside for hours in the dark. :-D
