I think I like the position of the VegTherm you chose better then were mine is mounted and I'm thinking of switching it. One question though, it looks like on your set up the VO hits your VegThem before the Pollack valve. Is that right? I was told that the VegTherm should be after the Pollack, so the VO is as hot as possible before it enters the injection pump.
The pics I have posted are not from my install, they are from a Plantdrive install. I have not installed the vegetherm yet but plan on mounting it in the same place as Ed did. And yes it will be the last in line before the injectors.

As for the other pics, did not get a chance to post yet.

Eric, that set up looks great! Totally compact. You have a one battery setup I am guessing. Mine is two so I do not think I would have the room.

Keep up the good work everyone. As Edward Beggs said to me, we are becoming quite the little WVO club with our Delica's. Thanks to the frontrunners like Kev for all their help. So much good info and collaboration is happening here. It is fantastic :-) :-) :-) .

Alright, he's what I see as far as flow directions for the diesel/WVO through the valve and the vegtherm. Here's my colour code key:
  • White = WVO or Diesel
    Yellow = WVO
    Red = Diesel
    Green Halo = new supply
    Blue Halo = return

Am I reading this right? I just want to make sure I have the flow direction through the VegTherm right. The only thing that worries me about this set up is that the WVO in the line after the VegTherm and before the Pollack valve is going to be cold every switch over. It looks like it will only be about a foot of fuel line that will be affected, not sure if this is a something to be worried about or not, or if if I got the flow direction right? I was going to put the VegTherm after the Pollack, but it would make the running the lines more complicated. Comments?

Hey Adam, nice neat install.

That foot of cold WVO will just cause rough idle for a moment after start up as long as your fuel rails and pump are fulll of mostly diesel she'll start cold just fine. You should change out that existing fuel hose, that run to the IP, it won't like a diet of hot veggie for too long.

Don't tell Josh, but that's a great place to mount the veggie therm as it will heat your fuel rail also.

I wish I could take credit for this pictures or the install, but this is a Plant Drive install and the pictures are from Sean. I just added the arrows to clarify in my mind that the fuel flow direction. I was going to try and get the VegTherm placed after the Pollack Valve, but both you (Kev) and Ed (Plant Drive) are saying that foot or so of cold veg oil isn't enough to worry about, so I won't.
