Well... as suggested by Mrdueck that failure might actually be an option, my 'weld' lasted all of two days. Parked in the driveway Monday night and the little green drip returned. Even after all the cleaning and prep work, the bond between the bottle and JB Weld didn't take.

A quick PM with Blevesque and the awesomeness of the people on this website got more confirmation. Went out to meet him - a new L400 owner and a stranger until last night - and chatted Delicas for a while then left with his loaner expansion tank while I wait for the new one to arrive. Installed it last night and all seems to be well. I'm getting pretty good at this whole expansion tank replacement thing... :?

A HUGE thank you to Blevesque for giving me the means to put my mind at ease for now. This is what being a club is all about... good people doing good things and having a blast while doing it. 8-) 8-) 8-)
