Ensure that the thermostat is a genuine one not aftermarket as we have experienced often down under misreadings as a result.
The 4m40 head is sus to cracking (design issue from Mitsubishi in Japan) so keep it cool and maintained may avoid the inevitable. Avoid coolant bottles that weigh under 1kg as non genuine also as they weep and fail usually with 1-8weeks and the fleabayer has got ur money
