its made by SVD enterprises which barely exists from time to time.. the purge time is 15 secs, 30 secs, 45 secs, or 1 minute.
the glow plug is controlled by a thermo couple that shuts it off when the motor is warm enough

its been over a year now. ive done close to 30,000kms on WVO with this system, including two trips to California. I did eventually replace the heater hoses with regular fuel line.
i had a mysterious air leak that was very hard to track down. i ended up tossing the stanadyne filter assy. it was a pain in the ass, leaked all sorts of air, and filters are expensive and hard to come by.
i have since installed the WVO Designs Raw Power Heated Filter http://www.wvodesigns.com/products/wvo- ... ilter.html

i have no air leaks, in summer i switch to WVO very soon after i start up. my purge is about 1 minute.
120kmh all day long on the hwy. lots of power up hills, even when loaded...

Now two years in. Lots of driving since last summer, never head to turn a wrench on the WVO system. However at the end of July 2013 on the way out for Summer Phish Tour 2013 the motor blew because the aftermarket oil pressure sender broke off. I was towed to CVI, never been there, never met Butch. Butch fronted me an L400 and we made all the shows. In the meantime I've had the engine replaced and Turtle rides again!! 8-) 8-) 8-)

On my boat it had an audible alarm that went off whenever the oil pressure dropped too low or temp went too high; why don't vehicles have have this? Idiot lights depend on you looking at the dash, and it can be too late by the time you notice, especially the oil.

sad to hear about the old engine. Would have easily gone past 500k ! Glad to hear you got Turtle back on the road.
