mine's been missing and smoking lately on startup when it's cold out, so unfortunately it does need warming up, but I have a feeling my timing is to blame more than the cold, although I'm sure it'll get worse as it gets colder

Yeah with not even dipping below 0 here I'm not too worried, I just give it enough time to get some warm air on the windows so I can see and I'm off... I go easy on the gas pedal until the temp gauge registers some warmth :-)
