Wicked.

DJ you should check out windstar.ca. It's a great resource. Check out some of the posts by Faye Jarsang. She knows Windstars and there are a few common problems like black smoke upon shutdown and it can be tricky installing EGR systems. There are a few characters on there including Brown2 and a guy who called everyone else suave and cool and quit the site in a huff. A few dealers like Setting Moon Exports and others are on there too so it's no trouble getting parts.
It looks like the site might be down for maintenance right now but try back later.

Not to worried about keeping it running. I fix my own stuff and fords are pretty easy to work on.

I fixed the power steering yesterday, the pump collects water off the hood. So flushed with tranny fluid and a tin can over the filler cap (it has a hole in it) to not allow water to get in...no more steering pump noise..

I will check out the site. It uses the same parts as the Ranger/Mazda pickup....

Ford in the 1990s made really good stuff, but everyone thinks Japanese cars are what to own (car is a car).....the unfortunate thing is I think most these 1990s cars all got crushed in the buy back programs so you could buy a new car that uses more gas???

Nick thanks for the photo of the other van with our missing side step....
