my initial investment of 11K for the truck, plus about 3k for new wheels, ip seal replacement, overflow, rad, and suspension and shocks has my L400 running perfectly...

If you think you have a love affair with Delicas now, just wait until you have one to call your own- I say go for it! I bought mine through Rising Sun and I am extremely happy with it and would definitely recommend them if you are considering buying through a dealer.
I not a mechanically inclined person but I feel confident that I can maintain my Delica, especially with the resources found on this forum.
