I recently carried 700-800 lbs of pavers in SvR. No problems with suspension (OK - I recently got new shocks, but nothing special). All I can suggest is that they drive it like a 45 Coach. Slow up-hill and easy (low gears) downhill.
And strap her down good so she doesn't bounce around - the engine that is.

Well they made it, with a plugged up transfer pump filter from sucking WVO from dumpsters

It was was running low on it's springs but not too badly. Not sure I would do that again, especially since the knuckleheads took the absolutely worst routes there and back, despite my advice not to. Kids.
