Haven't tried it but a phone call gave me this info:

Opti-Lube XPD available in Langley for about $25/L
Roughly $7/tank
H and A Service 5678 199 street #120 Langley, BC (604) 866-1967

Too spendy for me to do regularly...

Got my new 1997 L400 import (prior L300 owner) almost done ready for a decade-run here in Vancouver after a few "20 year) projects.

I used two-stroke in My L300 and engine & MPGs really liked it. It's a bit of a pain though at 200:1 as carrying around a litre bottle only gets you three fill ups, plus the environmental impact of all those bottles.

After reading around, I'm going to give Stanadyne a try. I know this link is a marketing ploy (one of first google searches), but basically Stanadyne gives you all the benefits of Howe's plus some injector CLEANING properties which Howe's seems to be missing.

FYI - looked around and ratio is 500:1 or 4 ounces to 15 gallons (gallon = 128 ounces so 4 ounces per 1920 ounces).

L400 fillups around the warning light are ~60L or ~15 gallons so 4 ounces per fillup.

I've used Stanadyne and had no mechanical problems whatsoever.
