On a side note, either the air from a high pressure tank or all my muckng with the tip, my sprayer shoots too far out, and the car behind me gets a clean front bumper. Need to paper clip that mofo. Otherwise, get the water out, clean the algae, and got to town squirting. :)

Could you still hear the pump running and just not see any fluid coming out? I can't hear anything working.

Ya, could always hear the pump going. Just no juice.

Finally got around to popping off that panel- no wonder there was no sound from the pump: One solid icecube from the filler tube through to the discharge hose. I had topped up the reservoir with windshield fluid when I first got the van, but obviously not enough to dilute the straight water that had obviously been in there from Japan.

All is thawed, refilled and working- thanks all for the tips.

My rear sprayer stopped as well. I can hear the motor work but nothing comes out. I thought it was out of fluid but when I went to top it up it was almost full. I blew compressed air into the resevoir thinking that it may unclog the spray jet. Nothing came out, then I blew some air into the spray jet itself, and it actually blew air into the resevoir, and blew the cap off.

Not sure where to start.

I had this problem too. I first tried a pin and no luck. I tried vinegar to clean the lines, but still no luck. After reading this thread I got out the air duster compressed air, but didn't have the straw for the bottle. I tried it and anyway but needing to contort the bootle in such a way to spray, I just ended frosted things up. So, desperately I put my First Aid skills to the test and put my mouth over the nozzle and blew like I would a victim with a blocked airway. With little effort bubbles could be heard bubbling in the tank inside. I jumped into the Van and sprayed away, then ajusted the stream jet nozzle and and to my surprise, "presto perfect"!

I had the plugged nozzle too for the last month. There is only one thing you need to fix a plugged nozzle/line on an l300 and hopefully this is the definitive answer and we can put this thread to rest.

If you pop the hose coming out of the fluid container off you will see it is exactly the size of a shraeder bike tube/car tire valve. Just push the hoze end into either a bike hand pump or floor pump and air shoots out of the nozzles like nobody's business. Took like 20 pumps to clear the plugged one but working great now.

If you are a biker and have a floor pump this probably works best as the pump will generate a lot of power to clear the nozzle.

don't bother with vineger or bleach (like me) before hand!

A lot easier doing it at home rather than trying to track down pressurized air at a mechanic.
