So do all Deli's have a low fuel light? I have been just going by the gauge.... but I am used to so called dummy light....
haven't seen it on the Deli yet..

sometimes it works and others not so much, i can be drivin it comes on turn off the car and hang out for a bit comeback and the light wont com eback on for like another 15 km

they all have them, but there's no guarantee that yours isn't burnt out. just remember though that these vehicles have a 75L tank, if you're not letting it get down to the point where you're putting in at least 65L (officially more like 68) then don't expect to see the light.

The closest I have is a green one that indicates that 4WD is engaged (or is that what I am supposed to be looking for ?)

The 4WD engaged light is directly below the gear indicator stack. Looks like a picture of the drivetrain. The Hubs locked indicator is a (literally) green "Wheel lock", and is an inch or two to the right of the 4WD light, below the tach.

On the subject of fuel capacity, I've had the low fuel light come on twice. The first time I put in 68.2 L after driving about 30 km with it on, the second time I drove 20 more km and put in 67.1 L. Mileage was 578 and 524 respectively. That's for an automatic Delica with the 75L nominal tank.

Last time I fuelled up I put in 72L and was at the pump 460Km later. I did have the 4WD engaged for few days, but I usually put 70L in and get 480-490km for my troubles

4wd is not good for the fuel economy...

I usually use 2WD ,and fill with around 65L just run 400km... Is that mean i have to go somewhere to tune the engine ?

I wonder myself since I get 12.8 L/100 km, and people claim 10 L/100 km highway. But does that include correction for tire size? My odometer is within 1% of accurate.

I agree that...
My tire size is 235-75 R15 and i normally drive on the city.When my light on is around 400km and fill up with around 62~65L.
So is that because my tire or i drive too fast? And do you think if i bring to do some tune up at the engine can help ?

I have the same tire size, and at 400km I still have a quarter of a tank showing. Fill is usually about 45-50 litres. Given that, I would suggest you might have a heavy foot. You're not trying to make 60km/h by the other side of the intersection are you?

Nah, I'm not generally in a rush, for one, the van is way to comfy, two, it's not a vehicle designed to go fast and three, I get a bit of perverse pleasure seeing the people behind me spaz out because I'm not trying to set a land speed record!

Okay regardless of your driving habits or tire size, that last one is just plain funny. And I too get a bit of sick glee from watching others have convulsions behind the wheel. Most funny are the 'monster' trucks, sometimes diesel, who mat the accelerator, huge cloud of black smoke, white knuckles gripping the steering wheel, and that little bit of surprise when they blow past only to realise they have to look 'through' the vehicle to see me on the other side, calmly driving and completely oblivious to their requirement for me to have been going much more quickly. I'm laughing inside, but I don't dare show it because some of those tandem pickups are BIG!
