You can just buy a used cluster for a few bucks with lower mileage readout and swap it out.
I know that's what some export/auction co's do.

There is a fourth screw behind the hazard and rear wiper control switches. Remove not only the switches but the plate they pop into, and you'll see the screw down inside the dash. Use a thin flat-bladed screwdriver to pry this plate off.JMK wrote:To remove the front dash cover I see one screw by the brake filler, and two more above the instrument clusters. There seems to be another attachement point on the left but not sure how to access it?
shouldn't there be 2 4wd lights (wheel lock as well as the little 4 wheel icon)?- 4 green (2 signal, 1 4WD, 1 neutral).
Nope. Plugged 'em in and they lit up. If they didn't, flipped 'em around. No fiddling with the wires.JMK wrote:BTW,
I have a heck of a time with the LED wedge style bulbs making a connection with many of the Delica sockets. Given that you have to change the polarity if they do not work makes it even worse. I usually have to fiddle with the wires on the bulbs and bend them various ways to get them to work, then on some they make an intermittent connection. I've got one gone out in my dash already. Anyone else found this?
