Don't the 'disklocks' look a lot like the valve lockouts that dockyard use on the sub?

delica304: Yes, same idea. We came up with the valve locks because there were too many monkeys trying to open the valves themselves instead of making sure nobody else did! Sometimes monkeys can be so unreliable...

Yeah, most of them end up being stewarts! (though the hull tech's are the poo jockeys!)
