Hi, Betty, what kind of headlight you have on your delica.
depo or other brand. if other brand maybe wiring as its a lttle bit samll but with depo no problem. it will be your contact either the wire is not functioning well enough.

Even with the depot lamps it is advisable to exchange the entire wiring harness from the original headlamps so as to retain the more substantial wire and better quality connectors . Takes less time to swap the complete harness than cutting and soldering the harness connector on . Also recommend using Hella 100W bulbs for both the high and low beams . The original harness will take the extra wattage bulbs and so long as the headlamp aim is set correctly they will not glare the oncoming traffic .

Fixed the problem (so far...)
The module installed in my van was running my headlights all the time ,which cheap bulbs or not, was causing them to crack from way too much voltage too often.
The solution was to simply find the module (mine was installed on the driver's side just behind the turning lights) and remove the fuse(?) running the module. Now I have the option of turning my lights off and on instead of them being forced to run at all times.
I can post pictures if anyone is still interested in this topic.
