Replacing rubber steering rod boots - how to take off tierod

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Replacing rubber steering rod boots - how to take off tierod

Liquid wrench and the hammers finally coaxed it apart.
I can confirm though that the steering boot listed in the wiki: Beck/Arnley part no. 1032695 does not fit a 1990 l300.
The inside diameter on the large end was significantly smaller than the one that I removed...
Has anyone had any luck finding aftermarket/cross compatable boots?
