EVEN IF just changed... I don't know what it is about diesels, but you do a complete oil change, check the dip-stick, and it's already black, you don't even need to turn over the engine... (my Delica, and my previous Mercedes are both this way, and I'm told that's normal)Also note that the 'oil dipstick' oil normally will look blacker and dirtier than any oil you can remember seeing on a dipstick (unless just changed)
