I'll be down the road at the Coombs Bluegrass festival August long weekend - will stop by and say hi if I can get out of the jamming circles, although I'm not going to vote - most likely get caught up in the camping...we'll see.....maybe see some of you, been awhile, k8 aka Kelly

Can't change a poll setting in mid-poll (function of the BB), but as I mentioned previously, think of it as the-weekend-of. It will be Saturday, whichever one is most popular and works for Glen.

Less than a week remaining in the poll. It's looking like votes are favouring the 3rd weekend in August. Got some good numbers responding this year too - about twice last year's. Should make for a good turnout.

Okay, so the favoured day is the 15th, and after checking with Glen he indicated that he's in discussions with John. Watch Glen's thread for the official announcement.

As an aside, I'll be bringing a fistful of Mitsumaples and Mitsuflags to the gathering, so if you've not got one, bring a couple of bucks. Stickers are 2.50$/each.

BC Ferries has a special rate for travel Tuesday, Weds, Thursday of $39.00 vehicle and driver included, one way, till 3 Sept 09. Good chance to check out the forestry roads near there and camp & 4WD before /after the Show'n'Tell. Cheers, Christine.

It is confirmed that the open day will be on the Saturday 15th August. We are still in the middle of organising the schedule and are open to doing or showing anything that people are interested in in . We will have door prizes and event special pricing on both parts and service. There will be a bar-b-q around lunch and refreshments. Also for anyone looking to camp over on the saturday night we do have the large grassed area that can be used. Please be aware that we are not a commercial camp ground and do not have full facilities. BYOB for the evening !!!
