i otter post some photos of my setup... its pretty smooth now, and 4 or 5 are sharing oil...
You are correct sir!
As an aside, do you know if it is possible to run something like a Frantz filter and a Dieselcraft centrifuge at the same time? Or, will the flow restriction from the Frantz reduce the flow to a degree that slows the centrifuge down too much?
There was a guy I think that posted on here
that was using only settling/heat and frantz filters.
As for in conjuntion with a Dieselcraft style I guess you could run
an extra bypass valve and use the frantz. So it would
filter the bypass from the fuge and have a
bypass itself to keep the pressure down n case it
clogged up,which I would think it would fairly quick.
A major difference between the two Fuges (RPC and deiselcraft)
is the deiselcraft type operates under pressure, the RPC is just gravity.
My point being you want the bypassing sytem to work well in case
you run into a hiccup and not damage any of your gear or spray hot oil everywhere.
From what I have gleaned from set-ups like this, is it would probably serve as a nice polish after the fuge runs are done.
Please not that you probably want the oil warm to get it through
the frantz bum-wad filter.
I found that even after I spun mine through the fuge
and let it settle into glass carboys(so I could be a looky-lou-Luna

)
and cool down, some really fine silty crap settled on the bottom
of the carboy. So letting it cool and settle into a container that
you DON'T move around and then pump off the topish, leaving any
crud in the container.
Also search around some wvo/biodiesel forum and look at
"cold upflow" it is a good concept(thanks Delicat) that you may
be able to work into your set-up.
Last but not take note of Ed Beggs of PlantDrive.ca's
advice and don't go too Captain Anal Overkill like
me.
Right On!
