yeah, this started as a low budget add-on to charge the laptop from time to time. Its slowly turning into the largest mod to date...lol! I think I'll keep it simple for now.

Would still like to see some pics though of others installs.

I ended up running 6 ga wiring without circuit protection (for Now) and mounted the inverter behind the drivers seat on the hump with outlets facing the sliding door. My inverter also has an on off switch so I'm hoping for less chance of malfunction when not in use.
I was able to plug in a small tv and my xbox and sit in the van in peace and quiet and play for about an hour before my wife found me.

speaking from experience, install that sooner rather than later!!! (I nearly burned down my L300 at one point with a wire that I planned to fuse "later", it grounded out and got VERY hot (lots of smoke, all the insulation melted off, it's just a good thing I was able to get it disconnected quickly enough!))
