Yes, enviro-imports! We're getting our roof racks for the roof tent this monday. Noel has been excellent to work with! I highly reccomend them.

Guys
Here's the L400 roof rack/basket pictures I promised.
Notice how the bottom clamp fits over the "cosmetic" rain gutter cover. It's been in use for 3 months with no ill effects to date.

That's some pretty fancy stainless folding. I really like them. Thanx for the pix. Do you know if they are available somewhere? If not, I must find someone to make 'em.

This assembly came from Japan so I doubt parts are available here. I'm trying to find local parts and draw up a plan based on this design and one other.

Unfortunately I'm out of town from Aug 9th till 20th and won't get much further till then. Can you wait?

How much weight are you carrying on your rack/basket?

If you guy's can wait a week or so I hope to have a prototype at least done so people can see pic's. I'm going to stock my own version of something similar.

Thule 387 High Foot Complete Rain gutter Car Roof Rack
they apparently have 8" of clearance.

On amazon.com they are being sold for $144 plus shipping $20-40.

Not sure if 8" of clearance is enough for the L400 High Roof.
Can anyone comment on this?

I went to a rack n road in costa mesa but they said they will have to custom build one which will be around $400-$500 ... yea right.
