On an oil change note. I purchased the 1067 from Napa the other day but they told me it is out of production. It isnt on the backorder list and they had 2 left in Manitoba.

My oil change with filter was 6.2 exactly. I went with the 15-40 dinasour diesel crappy for the first change. Even though Max Overdrive changed the fluids when I picked the Van up, I want to blow the oil through there a few times sooner than the 5000km mark. I had the other fluids inspected when I was at the lube place and ALL the fluids in the truck had been changed aside from brake which was still Japanese fluid. While I Wws there I had the rear LSD swapped to full synthetic and its nice a quiet now.

Had a freezing rain last night and the delica handles super neutral in the slippery stuff. It doesn't come out of a drift well due to the suspension and steering angles but its very easy to control with the e-brake and 4wd. I had a police cruiser try and zip up behind me for a look-see until I showed them the phenomenal 4wd system. Cya boys! :D

Ok, since this is a first time for me changing my Deli's oil.. 92 Exceed

These drain plug gaskets that keep getting mentioned.. Where do we find these? Lordco? Crappy Tire?
Are they a general item, not so specific to a Delica?

Also, I see Rotella T Diesel Motor Oil. Is that a decent oil to use?
Can Tire has 20L for 70 bucks..

Update:
I picked up a new magnetic drain plug from Lordco. It's a size 14 and fits beautifully. They also had the oil filter there for me. The one on Burnside in Victoria has a book with a lot of parts that fit the Delica. Mostly oil filters and fuel filters etc tho i imagine. They had to call Marigold Service and ask what size the oil plug is tho. At least Marigold was good for that.

Obviously there's room for another mechanic shop on the island that works on our Delis. CCAuto is great and everything, but that's like 4 hrs away from here...
