Honestly there is not much of a difference in terms of sound to the original exhaust. I really wanted it quiet and the muffler as small/light as possible.

I agree, but as I wrote in my post, the market is just so much different. There is not much rock crawling going on in Germany, but the overlander community is huge!

Maybe I just should sell DinoEvo and get one of these. Do you think I'll find a parking spot downtown?

I test drove his smaller brother, a MAN 8.136 FAE and was very tempted to get one to replace our Delica :D

Compare to their size and weight the fuel consumption is actually not as high as you think. You can operate the MAN 8.136 FAE with 20 litres per 100km

Where did you get manual hubs??

I bought them a long time ago. As far as I know the Superwinch hubs are not available anymore.

apparently the manual superwinch hubs are still available... provided you feel like driving to the USA.
the Shuck's auto supply in Lynden can get them. just ask for the 28 spline montero hubs.
call them first because they need 3-4 days to get them on the shelf.

Seeing as Superwinch Discontinued the hubs I bet if they actually went to order them
they would come back with zilch. I called all over, including direct to Superwinch.
Some actually said sure, I said great and went to place the order.
Then they said wait. I will call you back... Then 'Sorry'

Unless they actually have them 'in their hands' I wouldn't bet on it.
