Thanks for the offer Sean. I'm going to be looking at the install the weekend of the 28th. I think the hardest part will be getting the fuel tank mounted properly. It looks like I might have to re-route my exhaust to do that, or get a smaller tank. Gotta find out which is cheapest. I'll keep you posted on the progress and make sure I take a lot of pictures. Then I can get feed back on how I should have done it :-)

Perhaps I was being mocked :o :-) Or would that be a term of endearment. lol Anyhow, can anyone warrant a guess as to who would be the trouble maker. :-D And possibly I should take it as a hint that my signature might be getting a tad unmanageable. What do people think. (or maybe I should add the line about Cariboo bugs to mine as well, also maybe multiple other layers of bugs for that matter.)

Both  Imitation is the greatest flattery Josh! Decided to not wash my front license pate, figure one more road trip up your way and I'll be risking a ticket for not having a front plate.

On a another note, my co-workers have asked many times why couldn't they remove my sense of humor during my operation this year. You toilet paper one guys brand new truck, and they think your a joker for some reason. I do try and behave around here though........................

Is there a another WVO install meet in the making? :?:

I heard a rumor from a very reliable source that Docsavage is planing on an install in the next week or so...

Here are a few pics for everyone else... they are not really in focus, and were taken as an after thought (oops, did anyone take pictures... shoot... quick snap a couple before we shove it all together and close the hood, I want to go for a drive). I hope they help a bit.

Here is the vegmax, located right behind the wheel well.

Here is the veg therm... green shows direction of flow

Here is a real fuzzy pic of the two 3 way solenoids

And finally, here is where the tank is mounted, right behind the passenger seat. Its temporary until I can fab a huge tank where Andy placed his. The hoses for mine presently enter the vehicle from the wall behind the battery. When I change locations I am going to keep the lines inside the Delica, and just run them along the wall, and under the floor, before exiting into the tank at the rear or the vehicle. I figure it will keep the lines a bit cozier as well as help warm the van in the winter.

I will see what I can do about taking some more pictures a little later on. I hope these give a rough idea.

I just secured my WVO supply... approx 6 cubes a week. With that amount coming in I am sure glad I destroyed my fuel economy with larger tires, otherwise how would I get through so much fuel! I sense a few road trips coming on. I get to pick up 4 cubes tonight (and they are doing a prefilter of it all for me as well!). Man am I stoked.

Oh, more info on this mod please. I'm only 6'3" but I've had some close calls with the rear hatch and my head. It's only a matter of time before I stumble into it.

At this point anything help, thanks. Where did you end up getting your fuel tank from?

It's actually too easy. Take off the rear struts and switch sides, inverting the bottom mounts.

Really that's it.

I was actually looking at the possibility of inverting those...
now I also had a question from a friend who looked at it though... doesn't the top of the tailgate then touch the roof when you open it all the way?

No, I think the only reason it wasn't origionally set up that way is that your rear door actually opens a touch higher than the roof itself. So it probably was just a saftey percaution so that you dont open up the hatch and smash it against the ceiling of the garage or a branch or something. It doesn't touch the roof at all. It's a great mod. If you don't like it, switch it back in 5 min. You do need two people though: one to hold the gate, and one to switch the mounts. Keep the struts and mounts attached together though, just remove them off the van, and replace them on the opposite side, but with the struts inverted. So easy and rewarding.

Plantdrive has a few temp tanks on sale under the Discounted spot... those work great. I think they are going for $139 right now. Although I think it would be a bad size for under the van. Your best bet for under the van is to get someone to weld one up for you. You'll get a lot more usable space that way, and a cleaner install.

How's the WVO process going Josh? I just know your not going to be wasting any time till your first, own WVO fill - which is a really sweet feeling. Any pics of the Bowron Lakes?

Here's a couple of gratuitous shots of our Caribou camping!

Setting up, note the height of the door...

End of the road for our planned hike to Odegaard Falls,

Odegaard Falls from a veiwpoint - my son and I promised to return when he's older and hike into Hunlen Falls. It's been 20 years, at least, since I have seen both Hunlen and Della falls - I just have to let my son experience them. Both are truely a BC must see!

Wasn't I supposed to take pictures of Josh's install!? 8-)

Sorry, no Delica shots. It wouldn't fit in the canoe, or through the admission gates at Barkerville.

Good luck for all of you that want to do a WVO conversion, I will take more pics today/this week... however bad luck for me. The reason I am taking more pics, is that I have to do a few changes, I have a bit of an air leak. Now do not let this frighten you off, I know where the air leak is and why. It's at the injection inlet and outlet... both of those connections I did with the standard 3/8ths hose, but the ingoing was more likely supposed to be 5/16ths and the exiting was most likely a 1/4... so needless to say they are sucking a tad bit of air, meaning I have to crank for a few seconds. Still no biggy. It shouldn't take that long to switch out.

I'll keep ya posted.

Please do.

Air leaks after a new WVO install, never heard of such a thing. I know you can handle it. Are you buying smaller fuel line?

BTW - I liked your old signature.
