Re: Carpet - Front section
Did you take the quarter panel off and seal the seam on the inside or did you run a bead of caulking between the front panels, under the windscreen?

Re: Carpet - Front section
My pictures of the procedure are too large to load. The japanese have good instructions on how to do it, just thought a before and after picture may be relevant. In any event, I re-sealed the seam behind the front quarter panels, sealed the top corners of the windshield where there were gaps and sealed the crack that commonly occurs at the forwards end of the gutter. After having done that no leaks whatsoever. I did have to leave my carpet out of the van for 2 weeks before it fully fried (that underlay really soaks up the water) Having said that I went and spilled windshield washer fluid all over it when removing the bottle to re-install the carpet...oops.

Re: Carpet - Front section
I did take the front quarter panels off (had some fun with the screws but did get a new impact driver) and sealed the seam underneath. Also sealed the crack at the front end of the gutters. I've squeezed into the garage and started the drying - planning to dig into it tomorrow.

Re: Carpet - Front section
Here's a shot of the easiest wet floor fix - If this hose gets kicked loose you'll have a wet floor. The windshield can be a problem as well - water gets in and can find it's way around into the floor.
Good luck!

Use PicSizer...very simple and quick program that jfarsang told me about.
Then you can post the procedure.

I have a mac so it turned out I could resize in 'preview' Who knew!?nvanadm wrote:Use PicSizer...very simple and quick program that jfarsang told me about.

The last picture is supposed to be second to last but I think you will get the idea. I don't have any step by step instructions but this ( http://www.delica.ca/forum/water-in-the ... html#p2303 ) is better than anything I could produce.
I know mine is a little messy, the darkness rolled in earlier than I expected and obscured my vision. As I had to drive to work the next day and it was beginning to rain I decided to plow on with a headlamp.

Re: Carpet - Front section
Never mind, those are definitely not in the order I thought they'd be in. I think it's fairly straightforward to figure out though. Grey and dirty is before, clean and shiny is half way through and black and messy is the final product. Not pretty but it does the trick.
