If anyone would like to trade locations I'd be fine with that. This province sucks, but I'm stuck here 3 more years for school.

Those pictures of the delica were taken yesterday morning...it hasn't stopped snowing yet! Supposed to stop tomorrow sometime.

I'll post more later.
Go take kayaking lessons with Liquid Skills on the Ottawa River. You will like that province a whole lot more.

The Ottawa river is not to be missed for kayakers. :)

Actually my cousin and a bunch of friends are really into kayaking. They go there all the time. I'm not really a fan of being upside-down under water hitting my head on rocks. I'd rather be at the top of a mountain. Either snowboarding or hiking. Both keep my feet (or shred stick) on the ground.

In nearly 20 years of kayaking I have hit my head on a rock hard only once. The rest of the time there were very light taps - for a grand total of 12 hits in about 600+ days of kayaking. So rare that I count the times my head hits a rock! And, you won't hit rocks on the Ottawa river unless you want too. To big and deep for that (With a singular exception near Iron Ring if you run that route).

And if you know how to board, you know how to edge - which is half the skill of paddling! You are half way there already! ;)

There's plenty of snow. Just drive beyond the city limits a ways.

Well, here is the final result of the lake affect snow. I took these pictures this morning Wed, Dec 8th, 2010.
I forgot how fun it was to drive my Delica in the snow. Lots of people stuck all over the place and I hardly noticed anything in 4WD. This was also with my Geolander tires that I've had since I purchased from Mardy (60,000kms ago). Can't wait to put the DuraTrac's on!

Those photos are breathtaking, Nvanadm! I wish I could come visit, but that's about 2,400 miles out of my way, haha! :-D

It's STILL raining here in Victoria - started when you first posted those pictures and hasn't really stopped since!
