I unfortunately missed the H1N1 shots. I have no fear of vaccination as I know the odds behind that. (I dual majored in Biology and English literature - I just could not make up my mind! :p)

I have no fear of modern vaccinations. I know the statistics surrounding them. Yes, there is a risk of getting complications from a vaccination - however, the odds of getting complications from the flu are (this is from memory) 50,000 times higher than that from the vaccination injection!

I think that horrible people like Jenny McCarthy have followed Dr. Andrew Wakefield and believed in his studies too much.

It is the fallout from this that has caused some parents to not immunize their children. In a horrific ironly *CHILDREN HAVE DIED* because parents thought immunization causes autism.

It is for things like this that I detest pseudoscience, and I always take the most scientific argument. Staying with pseudoscience gets people killed.

Communist? What gives you that idea. I personally like the economic ideas as proposed by Milton Friedman. I like the political system that most closely resembles a scientific proposition. Not, that politics could ever get close to that sort of ideal, but try to stay as close to it as I can.

Hahahaha....Mr. Pistachio I couldn't agree more! I've made the same H1N1/zombie jokes out here in Calgary. I was asked why I wasn't getting a flu shot. My response...Because it's the flu, wash your hands!...And some mass vaccination campaign like this, especially one where the product was rushed to the people, will be the ground zero for the zombiepocalypse! The discussion was spirited between pro and con but in the end I promised my friends I would blow their heads of first.....

"free" h1n1 shots actually cost 80$ per dose, we taxpayers footed the bill. A company called Tamaflu was able to get the contract to supply the governments with vaccinations, with little to no reaserch done on the effectiveness/side effects of the imnunization.
I am sure its just a coincidence that Donald Rumsfeld is the majority share holder of the tamaflu corp. he managed to make a pretty good profit off of this. I also find it interesting that while the media was hyping up the "pandemic" urging everyone to get their "free" shots, governments in europe would not even allow the vaccines to be administered.
On a side note, George bush(s) were major share holders in a company called Halliburton, who coincidentaly locked down the contract to supply the u.s military with much of their weaponry.
What bothers me is that despite the advancements of communications etc, the commonfolk wish to remain oblivious to the corruption that our so called leaders are instituting. In the old days when there was injustice/corruption within the government HEADS ROLLED! the people (peasants) would band together and force change through violence(which is the only was to cure corruption)
Look at the justice system, are you going to support that as well? WHAT A JOKE!
Our "sophisticated" society is too dumbed down to even acknowledge what is going on in the world. They wake up in the morning and read the news paper then figure they have all the info they need. I recall a couple of years ago, a few million east indians had died due to flooding, and what was on the front cover of the paper? BRITNEY F'N SPEARS.

How could an intellegent fellow such as yourself fail to reconize these issues, are you on the payroll?

Also, some support from other open minded individuals would be nice, dont be scared to take a stand!

Reminds me of when I first started working with CSIS in the late 90's and they planted me in High Times magazine as part of the MEMU project. We used to generate phony conspiracy stories as 'news'. The rate of uptake and spread through the counter culture population in US and Canada was studied and used to help improve the effectiveness of propaganda campaigns targeted at them. Most counter culture types do not realize that the government they are 'fighting' against has already pulled their strings with drugs, music and suggestion rendering them generally apathetic and lazy and not a threat. Marijuana is one of the governments ultimate tools in crowd control along with religion. When religion started failing in the 50's the US and the British knew they needed something new. Enter the beatniks followed by the hippies...which might have been the most successful government programs of the century. The introduction of Punks in teh early 80's was conversely a big failure...it actually promoted too much independant thought which of course was opposite teh desired effect. Margeret Thatcher was so embarrased with that one! Canada instead invested heavily in Tim Hortons in the 80's and was successful in chemically neutering the minds of not only the next generation of youth but of all ages. Very smart. Nowadays we have the gangsta rap...more of a corporate move than government...convince people to commit crimes to be cool and essentially self-incarcerate themselves into corportate run prisons before their innate rebellious undertones are ever focused to the government.

This is why I love working for the governemnt, so I know what is really going on and can protect myself. What is actually worrysome is that governments have been engaged for some time in war with teh very corporations that were once allies and are loosing. While governments control you for the stability of the many....the corporations operate under their own agendas.

Another funny High Times related story...the look on peoples face when we let them know the RFID embedded in their High Times magazine led us right to their grow-op...priceless!

If anything, my thoughts are the '911 conspiracy' is so well formulated that it is itself another conspiracy...a government created ruse to isolate individuals extremely susceptible to suggestion, from which they will extract DNA from for their planned 2014 reGENesis eugenic soldier program. Soldiers that will follow orders without question and with feverous zealotry.

Many of the people you mentioned are on boards that help supply fuel for my Delica. Are you suggesting that I should just stop driving my Delica entirely?

You asked if I was a communist earlier. Capitalism dictates that I get the best product from the best vendor available. Yes, the money for the flu vaccine comes through taxes. But if I am offered the option of a free vaccene (that I have already paid for through taxes) or paying for one, I will take the one that I already paid for.

Unless, of course, you want to stick it to the man and buy the flu shot by yourself.
