Good to see all who came. Still busy unpacking the trailer, so I'll post a more complete response later. Delica304, I know you took pictures, so please post when you've time... (I was too busy talking with everyone).

I'm very disappointed I couldn't make it today. The girlfriend & baby got nasty colds on Friday & were still feeling under the weather this morning. How was the turnout?

Was well worth the drive - like I need an excuse to enjoy driving Hazel!! And yeah, we were really lucky that none of those black angry looking clouds lurking about let their load of hail on us! Had mostly dry roads both directions too. Thanks to all who came out - it was good to meet everyone - and their owners too!

Looking forward to that Courtney wvo co-op meeting

A good day! Met some interesting people, saw some nice vans, and got some good ideas and information. Brought my camera and also got so busy talking that I never took a single pic.
Thanks, Paul, for putting this together, and thanks also for the

Boxed in
"Sponsored by Metal Monkeys!"
Delicas in every shape and size!
One of the two WVO rigs that showed up:
Moon Machine exploration set (you sooo need to get some NASA decals!!):
And finally, the Landmaster (mine)

Enjoy!

Once again, I'd just like to thank everyone who came to Rathtrevor Beach. Excellent turnout, just what I was looking for. For those from the area, it was your meet and it was good to see you come out of the woods to meet at the beach. For those who came up from Victoria, thanks for the support. I was camping in the area and didn't expect as many to come up with me.
Good to see a couple of veggie machines - Adam and, sorry I forget the other. Thank you for sorting me out on the difference between WVO and bio-diesel (I thought they were synonymous and they're not). I'm still interested, but not ready to commit.
As some of you saw, I kept my word on the cake for k8bloomer - didn't tell her it was my son's birthday too! Can't see it so well in the picture, but those are question marks on the cake (not nice to ask a woman her age, you know), and it's a sly way to include my son's, k8bloomer's and delica304's ages collectively.

A nice variety of machines, mods, and improvements, and that is what makes these vehicles so very interesting - not boring in the least. I enjoyed speaking with all of you (and I do think I got around to all of you), and I look forward to the next time.

That was Sean.
I also had a nice time seeing all the nice rigs and putting faces to names. Makes me want to get a roof basket that is for sure. So much to do...so little money

.
Until we meet again.

Wow, you guys had quite the turn out! Well done!

How many showed up, 12 or so?
If we ever get in gear to get a Pacific Coast meet we might have to consider doing it on the Island... But the most Delica I saw at a single time was our first meet this year where there were 25 of us! (but it was a parking show only, would rather have grass and beach, trees, trails...)
Anyway, glad to see you guys getting good response.
Cheers!

By my count it was 13 at its peak.
I'm liking the idea of a camping meet, but that would be best for summer, I think. If you folks want to come over to the Island, that would be cool, although I would like to visit the Interior this year... it's been a while.

We'd be totally up for a camping meet! Our plan was to try do one on Easter weekend, but circumstances over the Christmas holidays changed the best laid plans, as they say, but we do tons o'camping all summer and fall, and this one will not be any different, we hope. We have some excellent spots (most not too well known), lots of gear if anyone is interested in going but doesn't have all the "stuff". Maybe a new thread is required here......
