Thats a big rig! I like it but those tires are lot of weight to roll on. Make sure you upgrade the calipers to the dual piston ones, it will require a small mod of the heat shield but well worth given the extra stopping power you will need.

Cheers and welcome!

Nice ride.

Thornbird's (those tires) are horrible.

I love the horn. 8-)

I keeping with the spirit of this thread here is a short vdo of the Paj trying to pull a FS Chevy out of a hole. Note to self.... the factory tow point is way to cheesy to be actually used for pulling a big truck out of a hole. I had tried the winch but it just pulled my truck across the gravel. I ended up winching him through the mud that he put his truck into.

Awesome video, nice sling shot... Glad to see it didn't hurt anything/body... Just curious: what part of it broke?

There is an attachment for a tow attach under the rear bumper on the rh side. The three bolts attaching it sheared off. I have since purchased an arb snach strap. This strap will stretch up to 20 percent, this will reduce the shock to the vehicle. Of course if anything breaks now it will be even more of a slingshot effect...

Haha, it'll be like a Wile E. Coyote scheme... I put a hitch on my LWB it's a "Draw-Tite" #75057 $200ish, I don't know if it'd fit your SWB but it seems really strong, I mount an XR650R on it all the time

Hi, this is my friend's old pajero, we use it to hunt, its old and wrecked but fun for drive. When i drive it a can feel a little bit MadMax feeling. When i drive any kind of jdm vehicle i always wondered because the gearbox and the engine are still narrow and exact. But unforunatelly the new japan cars are going to bad to worse cos their parts made in french :-( and for example the great nissan is french property but mitsubishi is still japan :-D

Nice! Those tires have scored high points for the heavier vehicles. Good choice. I think it's wise that you went to a narrower tire.....those other ones were crazy...well..great if you were planning to bury your truck in the mud at Stave Lake, but a bit much for everything else.

Sweet rig! Lemme know if you ever want to do some exploring around the Squamish area FSR's and test out your Paj.

Decided to put some pics of my little Paj that I'm using as a run around and a toy until the Deli goes back on the road.

I've had it about 2 weeks now and haven't done anything to it yet really but I have got some LWB rear springs to go on to get her up a bit.

This was about a week after I brought her and been using her for going to and from work, oh and a little sly play in our yard

So I gave her a quick wash

Not any where near to how clean Delisaurus is but it didn't take me half as long to do either.

And as I had a spare hour I decided to tint the rear windows as well

Image

And thats about it so far, for what was meant to be a run around the list of mods is starting to get longer and it will get turned into a proper off road tool and work horse but it will get done around the Deli.

Got to get some Yellow Diamonds in and a couple of Mitsimaples.
WHITE L400 EXCEED HIGH ROOF 7 seater
Now back on the road

Its all about the game.............

Image

.........and how you play it!!!!
