I am sure there are some knowledgeable people on the forum. When I got a bill from Glen at CC Autos who gave me a peace of mind and confidence in my van I finally learned that my Delica was manufactured in July 1990 which means that there is a way to find out who is who 
Silk Road Auto sold it to me as 1992 model but ICBC insured it on site as 1991 model
After all the question is still in the air: how to link the chassis # to the manufacturing year?
