Not too exciting........looks like the pictures from their website. Only this time it is in my centrifuge.

The oil was nice looking oil to start with. I was really happy to open it up and find the thick gunk. It works great !!

Hey Fish slapper, I have a similar setup in North nanaimo, where are you? I used the Sunwizard plan. I don't think you will be getting your oil clean by taking it from where you do though. I also use in line watertank heaters that heat me up to 100C in about 30 min. I have found taht as soon as it gets over 120C, I get other challenges with cleaning the centrifuge. I've added an additional filter and it acts a polisher.

I am also a huge supporter of the filter that Adam talks about. Well worth it.

What do you mean ? I am just curious....
I run mine through 5 times or so just to be on the safe side. I use a band type heater to get it up to 160 before spinning so it is real thin. I doubt there is much of anything left by the time i am done.
I would love to send it to a lab so i can have solid proof/bragging rights !! lol's.

As you heat the oil, things tend to settle out. You will find quite a bit of residue and some water at the very bottom of your drum...At least I did until I changed the outtake to be at the very lowest point. I would like to make a conical base as another improvement. Now, I have very little residue on the bottom of the drum when I am done.
I run the drum full for three hours (3 1/2 cycles). I have no water bubbles in pan test, and there is absolutly no sediment at the bottom of my refilled cubes now. My WVO filter is also telling me the same thing as i am no longer needing to replace it after 5000-6000km.

ok thanks for the clarification. I see what you mean. I would love to get a small conical bottom stainless drum like they use in wine making and bio-diesel processing.
you are right that would work best. For now i am playing it safe using the opposite mentality. My pickup is a few inches from the bottom allowing for tons of water and sludge before i would be sucking any up with my pickup tube. I have no water concerns with my oil supply. I suppose i could just make sure to use a paddle and stir the oil a few times while centrifuging it !!! This would keep it from settling out at the bottom........
