I've seen some decent ones on sale at Cdn Tires last/this week... Princess Auto is always a good choice.

forgot to mention that i got loaned a hi lift jack! a friend had it in his shop. it wont get his 37" tires of the ground (land cruiser wagon)

Did you pick up a good air compressor and a tire repair kit? Be sure to carry extra of those gummy plugs; used all that came in one package more than once (a Delica meet/the Duffy lake road and Bella Coola hwy, and a week in the Boo) – but that was with using/lending the plugs to others with flats. When lending then to the big tired rig owners (whom seem just too rarely to carry a pricey ~37” spare), they have needed four or five to get’r’done.
