I have to add as well that I've been using other alignment shops and have had good service all around so far.

It's quite possible that I got special treatment because of all the vehicles Jesse brings them.

After seeing many L400 with front/lower control arm bushings needing replacement, I looked at the camber bolts and most of them were pretty much unusable once removed.

Out of the three L300's I've owned, all three needed to have both lower control arm bushings and camber bolts replaced. Could be that I got three old lemons for suspension but I doubt it.

Are you guys finding the bolts to be old almost to the point of being stripped as well ? It can't be just a coincidence for me.

I hope all alignment shops are letting the delica owner's know about the poor condition bolts if they are apparent.

Bring a damaged camber bolt to the Ikea Meet tonight or include a picture with your comments. My camber bolts weren't stripped at all.

Every owners standard maintenance should include inspections (replacements)on all parts of the suspension.
The best way to find problems is to look yourself. L300s are a solid ride and certainly as good as the L400s. Neither are lemons but after 15 years all vehicles need new parts.

Any bolt should be lubricated before removal to save the threads. Mazola oil (and a Q tip) is good penetrating oil, just don't let your wife catch you with the mazola in the garage.
If the bolt or nut are corroded replace them with new parts. Lubricate the threads with "never seize" before reassembly.

Anyways, that's my rant. Thanks for reading.
take care

Corroded bolts are the killer.
