I just picked up the package from DevilsOwn; will bring it to the meet. I can't make it by 6 pm though, will be there closer to 7 o'clock.

I'll actually be there around 5:30 as I've been done work nearby for a while and have nothing better to do :) I'll probably hang out in the parking lot and get some much overdue cleaning/organizing/tinkering done

Well, I know there were pictures taken last night, I am sure they will be posted before long. It was good to see people again in a car park scenario milling about Delicas discussing mods & war wounds. Listening to dreams of future plans and the stories of conquests that inspire ideas for one's own future plans. I got there late. I was talking about scratches that I had cut polished out of the paint job, then about dents, then about graphics, paint issues ~ I managed to talk to some people, others were gone by the time I got to them.
I wanted to get there sooner but I wanted to finish the wax job. I had finally got a window to do this job and I wanted to get it done. I had compromised my plans earlier in the day when I had run into people who had wanted to talk with me about one thing or another. Then it was six thirty and I am balancing the bambie bars back onto the receivers whilst negotiating the foot rads with the bambie bar stalks. I felt an achievement as I saw them torqued into place ~ now all I had to do was reassemble the fog configuration. This is when the phone rings ~ it's Golf Cart wondering if I am working. I said: "yes, I am" wondering who this is as I had not spoken with him for a while and feeling somewhat embarrassed for not recognising the voice on the other end of the line as my fingers on the other hand are entangled with the plastic rivets of the perspex shield that goes over the fogs. They were at twenty Delicas, one away from the previous record... where was I?
Eventually I got there. Of all the people I talked to I barely got a "hello" to Golf Cart and by the time I had got around to talking with him he was gone, damn. Obviously we are going to need to do this again. I noticed a strange absence of rice crispy squares ~ what's with that?

Sorry I kept you guys up so late!
After spending a few hours in a parking lot freezing our buns we moved to my house, was pretty cool to see 9 Delica parked in front of my place! Had great time talking Delica and non-Delica stuff. At 3am there were still 5-6 Delica still parked in front!
