Bro. You have some issues with the dollar value and Delica's. It seems that no one can persuade you to see otherwise.almac wrote:sometimes i wonder if i overpaid for my L300; other times i don't.
i guess its a matter of perspective really.
if i bought a stock deli L300 for say $7-8000, i wouldve had to drop several grand for all the options my bus currently has... 3" lift, 31" boots, camperized, custom rack, water tank & sink, WVO system...
to get er done PROPERLY, i think the lift alone wouldve cost me about a grand. the WVO? maybe another grand.
however, sometimes i wish i had bought stock and done it myself; this way i would know what really has been done. however if i had gone this route, i probably wouldnt have had it on the road for about a month.
it seems that every few weeks, either i or someone else notices something wrong with her, costing me more clams.
in december it was the transmission... ouch!![]()
Last week it was exhaust. yesterday it looks like shocks(wish rancho still had the rs9000 wireless on sale).
i just hope that soon, she will just let me drive her for a while, without any serious issues.![]()
anyways, what it come down to is, do you want to drive it now and enjoy it, or buy it stock and drive it later after everything has been done.
